We are a modern school that maintains a strong connection to our rural roots. We have a family focused, warm and welcoming school culture that aims to create curious and creative learners. Our culture has been built around our three priorities of Relationships (people), Belonging (place), and Learning (pedagogy).
Our school has been in its current location for 153 years and in that time it has gone from a solitary building surrounded by farmland and bush, to the ever growing and evolving community. With more than 800 students we provide our learners with intellectual, creative and innovative learning opportunities.
The school is a state leader in Early Childhood Education, with its play-based learning focus. As students move through the school, along with explicit Literacy and Numeracy programs, they also experience our Kitchen Garden program, learning practical life skills, along with our highly acclaimed Inquiry learning process, and the schools capacity to Integrate appropriate technology.
Over many years the school has been a treasured part of the Vasse community and this deep connection continues to this day.
