Incursion: ‘BlueBack’ Spare Parts Puppet Theatre

Blueback – Adapted by Peta Murray from the book by Tim Winton for Year 3 – 6 students.

We have a fantastic incursion for Years 3 – 6 students in Term 3 on Tuesday 1 August 2023.

The Spare Parts Puppet Theatre is coming to Vasse PS to perform Tim Winton’s beautiful story, Blueback. It’s the story of young Abel Jackson and his mother, Dora. Growing up in Longboat Bay, Abel, and his mother have a love of the ocean and the creatures that inhabit it. Inspired by a large groper fish that calls the bay home, Abel and Dora strive to protect the region from developers and greedy fishermen.

The cost of the incursion is $6.50 per student. Please pay online before Wednesday 26 July 2023 to:
