In Science this term, the year 1’s have been exploring living things, mainly insects. We have been lucky enough to watch part of the life cycle of a Butterfly (from chrysalis to Butterfly) happen before our eyes.
So far, we have witnessed one of our Butterflies, Sunny, emerge from its’ chrysalis and have released her in the Kitchen Garden. Sunny is a Monarch Butterfly (also known as a Wanderer in Australia). Any day now our second chrysalis will emerge!
